  • O'Reilly re-elected conservation chairman Dr. Michael O'Reilly, chairman of obstetrics and gynecology at Griffin Hospital in Derby, has been re-elected to his seventh one-year term as president of the Monroe Conservation and Water Resources Commission. Karen Burnaska, former first selectman of Monroe, was named the commission's vice-chairman, Bev Doyle, secretary, and Marven Moss, treasurer.
  • The Monroe Conservation and Water Resources Commission conducts research into the utilization and possible utilization of open space, develops, conserves, supervises and regulates natural resources, including water resources, within the Town of Monroe.

    Commission Members

    The Commission is dedicated to enriching the quality of life in Monroe by protecting the community's outdoor assets and water resources.

    The Monroe Conservation Commission
    meets the first Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm
    in the Town Hall conference room.
